+++ INTRASOFT International implemented successfully ERP
system for INTRACOM Constructions S.A. +++
INTRASOFT International S.A. has successfully completed
the implementation of mySAP.com business applications solutions (ŠSAP
AG), in INTRACOM Constructions S.A. INTRACOM Constructions S.A, listed
on the Athens Stock Exchange since 2001, covers successfully a wide range
of services providing feasibility studies, project design, licensing,
implementation, installation, and supervision of large-scale telecom,
energy, industrial, construction and electromechanical projects, with
an annual turn-over exceeding 50 million euros, and maintains a significant
presence both in Greece and the wider Balkan region.
The project was completed in less than 12 months and
comprised the implementation of the following mySAP.com modules: Financial
Accounting, Asset Accounting, Cost Controlling, Sales & Distribution,
Materials Management, External Services Management, Project Management
& Costing. Furthermore, in the framework of this project, INTRASOFT
International S.A implemented for the first time in a Greek SAP project,
SAP's Industry Solution for the Constructions Industry (SAP Engineering,
Constructions & Operations), thus ensuring the effective coverage
of the sector complex requirements regarding Contracts and Subcontractors
Management. Additionally, the implementation covered recent Greek legal
requirements for stock management per project site, as well as Stock Exchange
reporting requirements.
Given the highly competitive nature of the Constructions
Industry, as well as the ever increasing complexity of the infrastructure
projects, INTRACOM Constructions S.A. decided to adopt SAP as its enterprise
applications platform, aiming at an effective reengineering of its processes,
the establishment of effective project and cost controlling mechanisms,
as well as a more efficient customer/ partner relations management.
Following the successful transition to productive operation,
in January 2004, INTRASOFT International was additionally assigned the
setup and operation of a Helpdesk function, at the customer's premises,
to provide support to its 80 SAP users. Future project phases will address
additional reporting requirements, as well as the coverage of the compliance
with the International Accounting Standards (IAS).
