+++ INTRASOFT International enters the e-Government market
in the Czech Republic +++
INTRASOFT International was awarded a contract for
the implementation of the common information system for the surveillance
of food safety information for the Czech Republic.
INTRASOFT International, a member of the INTRACOM Group,
in collaboration with local company Brain Systems s.r.o., has been awarded
a contract for the implementation of the common information system for
the surveillance of food safety information of the Czech Republic.
The purpose of the project is to interconnect information
systems of individual surveillance authorities dealing with food safety
into one common information system for surveillance authorities. The common
information system will contain all the data collected by individual Czech
and EU authorities and it will be administered by CAFIA (Czech Agriculture
and Food Inspection Authority). The unification and centralisation of
information into a single information system will enable immediate sharing
of food safety information between organisations and the publication of
alerts and digests for the general public on CAFIA's website.
The project runs under the Phare programme, which is
one of the three pre-accession instruments financed by the European Union
to assist the applicant countries of Central and Eastern Europe in their
preparations for joining the European Union.
With the award of this contract, INTRASOFT International
enters the e-Government market of the Czech Republic and expands its expertise
in the area of food-safety information systems.
