+++ Announcement for purchasing own shares +++

The Company announces that the Special General Assembly of shareholders of 14/3/2003 approved the new, through the Athens Stock Exchange, purchasing of own shares, as follows: The maximum number of shares to be purchased is the balance of the own shares, additional to those already purchased, up to a completion limit of 10% - which is not foreseen to be covered based on the 12 month validity of the resolution of the Company's General Assembly of 19/3/2002. Highest price effecting purchasing is 18 € for each share and the minimum is 1 €, per share. This resolution is valid for 12 months and expires on March14th, 2004.

In implementing the above resolution of the General Assembly of the company's shareholders, the company announces its intention to proceed with the acquisition of own shares, with commencing date March 26th, 2003.
